Job Overview
A leading company in the financial and sales industry is looking for a Sales Support Manager to lead a team of Retention Consultants & Collection Agents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring client retention, reducing customer churn, and improving collection efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Retention & Customer Engagement
✔️ Develop and implement data-driven strategies to reduce customer churn.
✔️ Oversee the execution of customer engagement tactics before, during, and after the retention process.
✔️ Ensure the team is well-trained on product knowledge and objection handling.
✔️ Maintain accurate customer records on company IT systems.
Collections & Revenue Management
✔️ Oversee Collection Agents to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
✔️ Set and manage payment collection goals and targets.
✔️ Develop and implement collection strategies to improve outstanding premium recovery.
✔️ Ensure all written premiums are collected within the acceptable NTU Rate.
Team Management & Compliance
✔️ Ensure quality and compliance measures are followed.
✔️ Train, support, and lead a high-performing team of Retention Consultants & Collection Agents.
✔️ Maintain professionalism within the team and ensure high customer service standards.
Minimum Requirements
✅ Grade 12 (Matric) with English & a second language
✅ Undergraduate/Postgraduate qualification in a related field (Advantageous)
✅ 5+ years’ experience in direct sales
✅ 3+ years in a leadership role
✅ Expert knowledge of Contact Centre Operations
✅ Understanding of the industry & product knowledge
✅ FAIS Fit & Proper compliance (As per legislation)
