Job Overview
UD Trucks Pretoria East is seeking a Parts Driver to execute delivery and collection duties while ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles. The successful candidate will also assist with general departmental tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery Duties
✔️ Collect and deliver parts from branches, customers, and suppliers.
✔️ Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections for defects, damage, and roadworthiness.
✔️ Report any accidents, defects, or traffic offences immediately.
✔️ Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with company standards.
✔️ Assist with translation of other languages if required.
Vehicle Maintenance & Security
✔️ Check delivery vehicles for damage, missing parts, or defects.
✔️ Ensure all vehicles are locked and secured after use.
✔️ Store keys safely in a designated key box or at reception.
Additional Duties
✔️ Perform reasonable tasks assigned by the department.
✔️ Be available to work overtime when required.
Qualifications & Experience
✅ Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
✅ Valid Driver’s License (Code 08 or higher)
✅ Clear Criminal Record
✅ Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
