Driver / General Assistant – Mr Price

Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver/General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transportation services and performing various general assistance tasks to support the smooth operation of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport personnel and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the company vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and arrange vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
- Keep mileage and repair records up to date.
- Support office operations by performing general administrative tasks as needed.
- Collect and deliver samples as required.
- Assist with setting up and organizing events and meetings.
- Handle errands and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed.
- Provide hands-on support on a daily basis.
- Perform any other administrative or filing duties required within the office.
- Any other similar admin duties as required by the business.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & a PDP
- At least 2 years of experience as a driver or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Ability to work flexible shifts depending on transport needs
