Key Responsibilities
As a Packer, your tasks will include:
- Packaging and Stock Control: Ensure the correct packaging for Graded Mills is used and maintain proper stock control.
- Milled Products Handling: Ensure milled products are not mixed and are bagged, packaged, and placed on pallets according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance: Adhere to Safety and Foodstuffs legislation at all times.
- Tidiness and Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the working area and perform cleaning duties as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF4
- Ability to perform hard manual labor
- Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (6-day work week) and night shifts
- Able to read and understand English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy in all tasks
Skills Required
- Service Orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Attention to Detail to ensure accuracy and quality in packaging and stock management
- Excellent health and physical fitness to handle manual tasks
