Key Responsibilities

As the Fuel Station Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the fuel station and deli, ensuring the unit meets financial, operational, and customer service goals:

  • Financial Management: Ensure the fuel station achieves turnover and profit targets while managing costs effectively.
  • Stock Management: Oversee stock control, ensuring quality, availability, and effective management of stock, including deli items.
  • Customer Service: Address customer queries and complaints promptly, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and company policies, including managing personnel and operational shifts.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization at the fuel station and premises.
  • Personnel Management: Coordinate staffing and ensure that training interventions are completed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure product standards and quality.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4
  • Code EB Driver’s License
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience within the fuel or fast food industry
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills
  • Proven track record in a management role
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • Willingness to work after hours based on operational requirements
