Key Responsibilities
As the Fuel Station Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the fuel station and deli, ensuring the unit meets financial, operational, and customer service goals:
- Financial Management: Ensure the fuel station achieves turnover and profit targets while managing costs effectively.
- Stock Management: Oversee stock control, ensuring quality, availability, and effective management of stock, including deli items.
- Customer Service: Address customer queries and complaints promptly, ensuring high standards of service.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and company policies, including managing personnel and operational shifts.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization at the fuel station and premises.
- Personnel Management: Coordinate staffing and ensure that training interventions are completed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure product standards and quality.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF 4
- Code EB Driver’s License
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years management experience within the fuel or fast food industry
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills
- Proven track record in a management role
- Clear Criminal Record
- Willingness to work after hours based on operational requirements
