Job Description
As a Creditors Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Accountant. This includes handling credit applications, processing invoices, and managing reconciliations and documentation related to creditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Creditors Administration: Handle credit applications, draft documentation, and process purchase invoices and credit notes.
- Reconciliations: Compile creditor reconciliations and manage query resolution.
- Vendor Information: Ensure vendor information is up to date and complies with company policies.
- Legislation Compliance: Ensure applications meet relevant legislation and regulations.
- General Administration: Perform various administrative functions such as archiving and supporting accounting activities.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF4
- Banking/Financial Experience (Preferred): Experience in the banking and financial environment is recommended.
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
- High-Pressure Capability: Ability to function well under time constraints and pressure.
