Purpose of the Role

As a Supply Chain Team Mate, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the efficient flow of goods for internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include managing goods from suppliers, replenishing stock, assisting at the collection point, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive goods from suppliers, DCs, and control quantities and quality.
• Dispatch goods between receiving, warehouse, store, and collection point.
• Store goods securely in racks and ensure stock is handled properly.
• Pick products to prepare customer orders and deliver them to the appropriate area.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in your working area.
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure the protection of people and property.
• Alert your manager regarding any issues or dysfunctions.
• Serve customers at the collection point by helping them load their products.
• Foster positive relationships with internal customers, providing excellent service.
• Take responsibility for your professional development by utilizing company tools and training.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, promoting a team-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Essential: Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent

Experience:

• Proven experience as a supply chain clerk
• Retail experience is advantageous
