Job Description – Remote Sales Job with High Earnings Potential
As a Virtual Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in engaging and supporting clients through Discovery Connect’s digital platform. This is a high-paying sales job that rewards performance and customer engagement. Your responsibilities include building client trust, providing world-class service, and generating high-value sales opportunities. Successful consultants drive sales through virtual meetings (Zoom-based) and deliver tailored financial solutions across Discovery’s product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive sales and marketing initiatives.
- Professionally manage high-net-worth clients and provide exceptional financial consulting services.
- Conduct virtual sales appointments and Financial Needs Analysis (FNA).
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and video calls to provide financial advice.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain service level agreements and deliver superior customer satisfaction.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English/Afrikaans with a professional communication style.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Required
- NQF5 and RE5 Qualification – Essential
- COB Qualification – Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience (high-value sales preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of Discovery Life, Health, Insure, Invest, and Bank product knowledge (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A business degree or financial planning certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in broker consulting, financial planning, or investment sales is highly beneficial.
