Introduction

The Retail Business Consultant will be pivotal in driving Momentum solutions through Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), helping them grow their businesses while expanding Momentum’s footprint.

Role Purpose
The Retail Business Consultant is responsible for building and sustaining meaningful partnerships with IFAs to promote Momentum solutions, achieve MDS sales targets, and enhance the Momentum brand in the market.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: 3-year tertiary qualification or willingness to study towards a degree.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant sales and communication experience; experience with Momentum products is advantageous.
  • Additional: Valid driver’s license and a car for travel to IFA locations. Willingness to work on a commission-based structure with high performance-based pay.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engagement: Drive consistent engagement with IFAs, ensure understanding of IFA needs, and tailor value propositions accordingly.
  • Visibility: Visit IFAs regularly to promote products, address queries, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Support and Education: Empower IFAs through coaching, delivering critical insights, and ensuring they are equipped to meet their business goals.
  • Business Growth: Cultivate Momentum as the partner of choice, supporting IFAs with tools to enhance financial planning and advice outcomes.
  • Empowerment: Achieve business retention and growth through strategic input into IFA practices.
  • Flexibility: Manage own diary and travel to IFA locations as needed.
