Role Purpose
Momentum Life is seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst with expertise in long-term life insurance products to bridge the gap between actuarial product requirements and IT development. The ideal candidate will analyze product rules, processes, and business requirements to ensure effective IT solutions that enhance business strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Business Analysis, IT, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a Business Analysis or Product Team within the Life Insurance or Reinsurance sector
- Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, premium rates, values calculations, and investment structures
- Experience in SQL and Advanced Excel
- Financial/statistical mathematics knowledge
- Business analysis or actuarial specialist experience (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret business and product requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirement specifications for development teams.
- Document and validate business processes and product rules in accordance with best practices.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance of product implementations.
- Collaborate with IT and actuarial teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with product strategies.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Manage change requests and prioritize updates to ensure continuous product improvement.
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities within the product value chain.
- Stay updated with legislative and IT trends to optimize product offerings.
- Ensure a client-centric approach in product design and development.
