Job Purpose
The Security Checker will be responsible for ensuring the security of goods leaving the premises, verifying all sales and returns with supporting documentation, and ensuring that customers follow proper procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Check Goods: Verify all goods leaving the premises, ensuring they match the supporting documentation.
- Sales and Returns: Confirm that all sales and returns are properly documented.
- Proof of Delivery: Ensure credit customers sign the Proof of Delivery (POD) notes.
- Payment Verification: Ensure cash customers have paid for their goods.
- Security and Reporting: Report any suspicious behavior to management immediately.
- Vehicle Checks: Perform vehicle checks before entering the company premises.
- Boom Movement: Manage the movement of the boom.
- Visitors Log: Complete the visitors book accurately on a daily basis.
- Uphold Company Values: Promote and uphold the company’s values and culture.
Requirements
Education/Training
- Grade 12
Experience
- 1 year of relevant experience in a hardware environment.
