Job Purpose
The General Assistant will provide prompt and efficient assistance to customers and suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of loading and offloading vehicles, maintaining yard stock organization, and assisting with workshop/joinery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Preparation & Assistance: Ensure that customers and drivers receive accurately prepared orders.
- Loading & Offloading: Assist with the loading and offloading of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Yard & Stock Maintenance: Ensure that yard stock items are neatly packed, organized, and accessible for customers.
- Vehicle Care: Ensure that vehicles are clean and loaded safely for delivery.
- Workshop/Joinery Assistance: Assist customers and suppliers promptly with workshop/joinery-related queries.
- Wash Bay Activities: Complete wash bay activities accurately, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles.
- Store Organization: Ensure that store shelves, boards, and other stock items are neatly packed and accessible for customers.
