🔎 We’re Hiring: Area Manager – Sales
PPC, a leader in cement manufacturing with over 130 years of experience, is seeking an Area Manager in Sales to drive strategies related to product volume, pricing, and customer sourcing. This role is key in customer relationship management, logistics, and credit management to meet both customer requirements and financial KPIs.
📊 Key Responsibilities
As an Area Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for volume, pricing, and sourcing.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service and delighted customers.
- Source new clients and gather market intelligence to explore growth strategies.
- Promote PPC products, expanding brand equity across new and existing markets.
- Plan and execute projects and initiatives, securing major projects with new clients.
- Monitor and manage departmental CAPEX budget, ensuring financial growth and compliance.
- Lead and manage your team, promoting a high-performance culture and adherence to company standards.
🎓 Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Commerce (NQF Level 7)
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce or Sales (NQF Level 8) is ideal
- Degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous
Experience
- 8 – 10 years of relevant sales experience
- 5 years of experience as an Area Manager or in business development
- In-depth knowledge of cement and concrete manufacturing processes
- Experience in logistics, retail management, and construction industry
Key Competencies
- Expertise in customer service and sales planning
- Stakeholder management with strong focus on market intelligence
- Knowledge of legal compliance and Profitability
