Job Overview
The Security Services Internship provides an opportunity to assist in the coordination and administration of the security services within the Electoral Commission. The intern will be trained and exposed to various aspects of security management and will report to the Admin Officer: Security Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and administration of security services for the organization.
- Support the team in ensuring the safety and security of facilities, personnel, and assets.
- Help with the implementation of security policies and procedures across various locations.
- Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of security activities and operations.
- Assist in risk assessments and recommend improvements for security measures.
- Provide administrative support to the security department in relation to reports and documents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
- An interest in security services and facility management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- If holding a foreign qualification, provide a SAQA evaluation certificate.
