Job Overview
The Logistics Internship is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking exposure to logistics functions and support services. The intern will be trained and will assist in providing impactful logistics services to the Electoral Commission’s clients and stakeholders. The position reports to the Senior Admin Officer: Logistics Distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with logistics operations to enhance the Electoral Commission’s services and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide administrative support for logistics-related tasks, including material distribution.
- Help ensure smooth inventory management and material handling for the organization.
- Contribute to the tracking of logistics activities and assist with the preparation of reports.
- Participate in logistics planning and execution for events, meetings, and electoral processes.
- Support the team with delivery management and coordination of logistics needs for the Electoral Commission’s various projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with logistics processes and administration is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- If holding a foreign qualification, provide a SAQA evaluation certificate.
