Job Overview
The Electoral Commission is seeking Field Workers to assist with the Makhado By-Elections. These positions are crucial in strengthening the electoral democracy process by coordinating voter registration and other related programs at the voting station level.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating voter registration and related activities at voting stations.
- Ensure efficient implementation of election-related programs as per the Electoral Commission’s guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities carried out.
- Support the management of electoral processes and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Applicants must not have a high political party profile.
- Matric or relevant qualification required.
- If applicable, foreign qualifications must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- Valid driver’s license (if required for the role).
- Comprehensive CV, identity document, and qualification documents must be submitted.
- Failure to submit the required documents will result in the application not being considered.

- Successful candidates will undergo background checks, including CV verification, criminal and credit assessments.
- A probation period of 12 months will be applicable for permanent employees.
