Job Overview
QPro Feeds, a division of VKB Agri Processors, is seeking a Handyman to provide maintenance support at its Vrede facility. The role ensures that building structures and surrounding areas are maintained to required standards, including repairs, servicing, and general upkeep of the factory premises.
Key Responsibilities
🛠 General Maintenance & Repairs – Perform a variety of handyman tasks within the plant.
🎨 Painting & Repairs – Paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and other building components.
🚪 Door & Lock Fixing – Install, repair, and replace doors, locks, and hinges.
🔍 Inspection & Issue Resolution – Identify maintenance issues and resolve them promptly.
🛑 Safety Compliance – Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
📦 Tool & Equipment Management – Maintain tools in an organized and safe manner.
🌿 Indoor & Outdoor Work – Perform tasks both inside and outside, including working at heights and carrying heavy objects when required.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ At least 2 years’ experience in handyman tasks
✔ Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
✔ Basic knowledge of plant safety & compliance
