This position involves driving vehicles for the transportation of valuables, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and complying with safety protocols. As the role requires handling firearms, candidates must meet medical requirements before employment.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Vehicle Management
- Transport valuables securely and responsibly between various areas.
- Maintain vehicle standards and comply with company procedures for equipment and vehicle management.
- Conduct vehicle audits and complete necessary checklists.
- Inspect vehicle after completing duty to ensure readiness for the next trip.
Operational Security & Risk Management
- Perform security drills and maintain vigilance during operations.
- Assess risk and act quickly in emergencies or suspicious situations.
- Report incidents and accidents to the branch and relevant authorities.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with health and safety policies.
Scheduled Trips & Operational Compliance
- Perform standard checks before departing.
- Report vehicle issues immediately to the control center.
- Ensure compliance with company codes, safety measures, and crew protection during trips.
Ideal Candidate
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid PSIRA Certification
- Valid PDP License
- CIT Certificate
- Valid SAPS Firearm Competency for Business Purposes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
- Team player with strong adherence to policies and procedures.
