Role Overview
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals in a contract catering environment. Your role will be critical in ensuring efficient kitchen operations and maintaining excellent food service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure efficient batch cooking, particularly in a hospital setting.
- Maintain high levels of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
- Assist the kitchen team with general duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment (essential).
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- Relevant qualification in Food & Beverage or Culinary Arts.
- Experience in a hospital kitchen environment is highly advantageous.
