Job Overview
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leader in integrated cash management solutions, is seeking an ATM Custodian to join their team in Mthatha. The role involves ensuring ATMs are replenished on time, functioning properly, and providing an overall high level of customer service. This position requires the handling and safekeeping of cash, following strict protocols for ATM replenishment and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
ATM Uptime Management
- Ensure ATMs are correctly stocked with cash and supplies.
- Work with the control center to resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of ATM cubicles.
ATM Cash Replenishment
- Replenish ATM cash and maintain proper sealing and documentation.
- Perform cash reconciliation at required intervals.
- Report discrepancies or issues with ATM cash promptly.
Deposits and Purge Bin Management
- Accurately clear cash deposits and handle irregular ones for further scrutiny.
- Deliver deposits to the bank or G4S Cash Centre.
Reporting and Reconciliation
- Ensure ATM reports are actioned promptly according to laid-down instructions.
- Reconcile ATM cash daily, ensuring everything balances before leaving the premises.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- PSIRA Grade C certification
- CIT certificate
- SAPS Firearm Competency with Business Purposes
- 2 Years’ experience in a similar role
