Job Description
We are looking for a Store Worker to join our VKB Retail team. This role involves performing general tasks that require minimal induction and are crucial for the day-to-day operations of the store. The ideal candidate should be able to assist in maintaining the store’s cleanliness and support customer service and stock management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the general tidiness and cleanliness of the store
- Perform cleaning duties as required
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned
- Help customers and suppliers with loading and offloading stock, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Maintain housekeeping of the premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage stock control
Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks (manual labour)
- Experience in the agricultural field is advantageous
- Strong value-adding attitude in job functions
