Key Responsibilities
- Machine Maintenance:
- Regular maintenance and cleaning of the saw machinery.
- Material Handling:
- Feeding material into the saw machine.
- Machine Settings:
- Adjusting machine settings as required for specific tasks.
- Regulating the speed of the machine belt.
- Regulating the temperature settings.
- Edge Trimming & Sanding:
- Ensuring correct edge trimming and sanding processes are followed.
- Customer Service:
- Assisting customers as needed.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area.
- Safety & Security:
- Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring security measures are followed.
- Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
- Performing additional tasks as needed to support the team.
- Company Values:
- Upholding and promoting the company’s values and culture.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar industry.
Work Level
- Junior
