Job Overview:
AVBOB is inviting unemployed South African graduates between the ages of 18-35 to apply for its 2024/25 Internship Programme. This 12-month contract opportunity provides graduates the chance to work with an established and customer-focused company that has been operating for over 100 years. The role offers exposure to customer service, client relations, and business development within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service Management:
- Deliver a positive and professional client service experience at branch locations.
- Manage client inquiries, document activities, and track outcomes.
- Escalate complex queries or customer complaints to branch managers or supervisors in a timely manner.
- Provide technical assistance to clients on AVBOB products and services.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through regular check-ins and follow-ups.
- Client Records & Service Improvement:
- Maintain and update client records, ensuring accurate documentation of all processes.
- Conduct post-service surveys to identify client service concerns and facilitate proactive intervention steps.
- Stay informed about emerging client service trends and assist the team in leveraging these trends for business improvement.
- Recommend product improvements based on feedback from client services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Financial Degree, Accounting/Economics Degree, BSc Information Systems, Marketing Management Degree, or Business Administration Degree.
- Skills & Experience:
- Data Analytics knowledge.
- Sales experience is advantageous.
- Customer service experience is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
