Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
- 7–12 months of experience as a driver/messenger.
- Valid driver’s license (minimum Code B).
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Knowledge:
- Procedures for motor vehicle operation (e.g., trip authorities, logbooks, fuel, maintenance).
- Prescripts for vehicle utilization and storage.
- Local knowledge of the area(s).
- Skills:
- Communication (verbal and written).
- Negotiation and problem-solving.
- Organization and planning.
- Basic literacy, openness, and transparency.
- Attributes:
- Punctual, reliable, flexible, honest, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation:
- Drive light/medium vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items.
- Routine vehicle maintenance and defect reporting.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain vehicle records (logbooks, goods handling).
- Collect, deliver, copy, and fax documentation.
- Provide registry support when required.
