Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Duties:
- Deliver goods efficiently and on time.
- Ensure accurate and authorized delivery notes accompany all goods.
- Collect COD payments where applicable.
- Vehicle Management:
- Conduct daily inspection checks and report defects.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is packed to prevent damages or breakages.
- Adhere to vehicle maintenance schedules to reduce costs.
- Loading Supervision:
- Supervise and assist with loading and unloading goods.
- Ensure the correct quantities and supplies are loaded and delivered.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to customers during deliveries.
- Address any customer queries or concerns professionally.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Uphold company values, policies, and safety standards in all activities.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Licensing:
- Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) license suitable for 3501 – 9000 kg vehicles.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
