Position Overview
This apprenticeship opportunity is available for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Automotive Electrician trades. The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years and includes a blended training approach (theoretical, practical, and workplace-based). Upon successful completion, learners will achieve a recognized trade certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in training sessions and practical assessments to develop skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum of Grade 10 or 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science/Physics (or an equivalent technical qualification).
- Driver’s License: Advantageous.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of technical concepts and willingness to learn.
