Position Overview

The Packaging Learnership offers learners the opportunity to complete a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF 3). The learnership is a one-year fixed-term contract, combining on-the-job learning with off-the-job theoretical training, culminating in a national qualification.


Key Responsibilities

  • Structured Learning Program: The learnership combines theoretical learning off-the-job and practical learning in the workplace.
  • Qualification: On completion, learners will earn a National Qualification recognized on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
  • Assessment and Competence: Learners will demonstrate their competence in the workplace through various assessments based on SAQA registered unit standards.
  • Workplace Application: The programme will provide practical experiences to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:
    • Matric with Mathematics & English.
    • Technical Courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) will be advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
    • Attention to detail and effective team interaction skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in teams.
