Position Overview
The Driver is responsible for ensuring the delivery and collection of customers or parts is carried out professionally while adhering to road traffic ordinances. The role includes maintaining company vehicles, reporting any damages, and assisting with the delivery of documents to distributors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service advisors and receptionists with customer transport as needed.
- Move vehicles in and out of inspection areas and wash bays as required.
- Recover broken-down vehicles using company vehicles (Carshop LDV or Mobi-jack).
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage on each trip in the logbook.
- Report any faults or damages to vehicles, including the Mobi-jack.
- Ensure all vehicles are driven safely and courteously.
- Report any accidents or incidents to the workshop foreman.
- Assist with cleaning customer and breakdown vehicles as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: 1-2 years as a driver in the corporate sector.
- Driver’s License: Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
