Purpose of the Job
Medirite Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Advertising Assistant to support the Advertising Coordinator, Buyers, and Marketing team. The role involves executing external supplier collaborations and internal initiatives to ensure the success of all promotions.
This position is ideal for an energetic, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for marketing and advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage promotional campaigns and advertising initiatives.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet promotional needs.
- Support the Advertising Coordinator and Marketing team in daily tasks.
- Ensure successful collaboration across all stakeholders.
Job Objectives
- Coordinate all promotional campaigns alongside the Advertising Coordinator.
- Brief advertising agencies and media teams for all promotions.
- Copy-check and approve all advertising material.
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Open job numbers in RMS and SAP systems.
- Announce and activate promotions within SAP.
- Extract and analyze relevant promotional reports.
- Brief promotional lines to the agency via RMS.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Matric certificate.
Experience
Essential:
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or advertising.
- Experience in FMCG or retail marketing is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience with ATL (Above-the-Line) or BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing.
- Familiarity with print and electronic media operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365.
- SAP knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong command of English with excellent writing and verbal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of promotions workflow.
- Strong organizational abilities.
