Job Description
Motus Hino Mbombela is hiring a Storekeeper who will report to the Manager: Parts. The primary responsibilities of this position include receiving, unpacking, storing parts in the correct bin locations, and picking parts for delivery, in line with the company’s standards.
Specific Responsibilities
- Receiving and Storing Stock:
- Receive, unpack, check, and bin all incoming stock.
- Ensure parts are free from damage and that part numbers and labels match correctly before binning.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is provided to the Admin department with appropriate signatures.
- Ensure binning accuracy and update bin locations as per Hino specifications.
- Picking and Dispatching Parts:
- Pick parts against a computerized invoice and hand them over to the authorized person.
- Ensure all outgoing parts are free from damage before handing over.
- Ensure accuracy of the picking process.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Adhere to all safety and security policies set by the company.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse at all times.
- Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- Ensure dress code and personal hygiene comply with Hino standards.
- Be willing to work overtime during stocktaking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Education:
- Grade 12.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Clear criminal record.
- Preferred Experience:
- Warehouse knowledge and experience are advantageous.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within Hino Warehouse Standards and Policies.
