Job Description

Europcar, a leader in the car rental industry, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Admin Assistant: Sales and eCommerce to join their B2C Sales team in Gauteng. Position Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to support and promote the habits of the company, assist with customer needs, and optimize business growth. As an Admin Assistant in Sales and eCommerce, you will be responsible for processing customer requests, reservations, and reports. The role requires a multi-skilled individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Processing and Reporting:
    • Produce accurate, professional reports using various data sources.
    • Maintain service levels and turnaround times for different customer segments.
    • Ensure procedural controls are followed when processing requests and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Keep customers informed of delays and any other relevant updates.
    • Address customer queries and assist with website-related issues.
    • Administer reservations and provide exceptional service to meet customer requirements.
  • E-Commerce and Sales Support:
    • Update branch information and make necessary changes to Google listings.
    • Manage B2B user creation, updates, and deletions.
    • Test changes through Change Requests and ensure they align with business requirements.
    • Assist with troubleshooting website issues and report bugs.
    • Load and test promotions/competitions, ensuring they go live timely.
    • Support team members with rate updates, reports, and booking assistance when required.
  • General Administrative Tasks:
    • Ensure high levels of accuracy and professionalism at all times.
    • Perform administrative duties such as preparing change requests and submitting them on time.
    • Assist with Business Connect bookings during system downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • NQF Level 4 qualification (Grade 12 or equivalent).
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in a corporate environment).
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Impress.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent diagnostic, numeracy, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
