Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will oversee all maintenance-related tasks and ensure the general upkeep of your designated area. This role requires maintaining up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, devising plans to minimize breakdowns, ensuring adherence to the OHS Act, and managing asset care. The position also involves implementing maintenance protocols for machinery and non-mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Availability:
- Perform tasks to ensure all machinery is operational.
- Prioritize, review, and evaluate maintenance requests.
- Respond rapidly to equipment repairs by coordinating response teams.
- Site Inspections and Maintenance Plans:
- Regularly inspect sites, evaluate needs, and address maintenance requests.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance programs and protocols.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance logs for all machinery.
- Ensure accurate reporting of monthly budgets and supply inventories.
- Support the MECP (Maintenance Excellence Continuous Program) implementation.
- Safety and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with the OHS Act to create a safe working environment.
- Uphold company Quality Control Standards.
- Supply Management:
- Track and manage maintenance supply inventory.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education and Certification:
- Grade 12.
- Degree or technical certification (trade tested).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience.
- Experience in the FMCG industry.
