Role Purpose:
The Facilities Manager will implement and manage an integrated Facilities Management (FM) solution for clients, ensuring that all service delivery meets the standards outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Main Outputs:
- FM Services Strategy: Drive the FM services strategy and ensure the efficient delivery of services as per the SLA.
- Health, Safety, and Risk Management: Implement HSE, Quality, and Risk Management systems, in collaboration with the Contracts Manager, according to client needs.
- Audits and Quality Control: Conduct daily audits on FM services, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Financial Management: Ensure timely sign-off on P&L statements and manage cost-effective solutions for service delivery.
- Supplier Management: Manage back-to-back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors, and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with service expectations.
- Project Management: Assist with FM project management and provide technical support where applicable.
- Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, support, and feedback to encourage improvement, and manage conflicts in accordance with company policies.
- Invoicing & Reporting: Ensure timely processing of invoices and provide monthly reports on compliance with the SLA.
- Staffing & Training: Ensure appropriate staff placement, manage shift schedules, and facilitate the training, coaching, and development of subordinate employees.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills:
- Qualifications:
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- National Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field
- Valid South African Driver’s License
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Facilities Management, CRM, Property Management, and Financial Management
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Outlook (Intermediate level)
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, Risk Management Systems, Property Law, and Contractual Law
