Job Title: Warehouse Clerk
Location: Afrimat Cement Plant, Lichtenburg

Job Overview:
Afrimat Cement Plant is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to assist with the management of warehouse functions. The role involves maintaining master data, managing goods receipts, issuing stock items, and ensuring accuracy in stock levels. The Warehouse Clerk will also be involved in daily stocktaking and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
- Relevant degree or diploma.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Forklift Operator License (Advantageous).
- Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods Receipt and Issuance:
- Receive and issue goods and services on SAP.
- Ensure that all goods received are addressed to Lafarge Lichtenburg by verifying the delivery note.
- Offload goods safely, ensuring quantities match the delivery note and purchase order (PO).
- Stock Management:
- Inspect delivered goods for damage and compliance with the PO.
- Capture the order number, GRN, and material details in SAP.
- Allocate material codes and bin locations for stock items.
- Ensure that all receipts are processed at the time of receiving goods.
- Inventory Control:
- Issue spare parts only with a reservation or work order.
- Ensure that all reservations for the day are captured in SAP.
- Follow up on after-hours issues using the daily tracker, ensuring items are issued with proper reservations.
- Stocktaking and Housekeeping:
- Assist with daily stocktaking and ensure stores are clean and organized.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, such as daily diesel issues reconciliation and summary.
