Job Overview:
Pedros is looking for a dedicated Prepper to join their team in Ulundi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that food is prepared and plated according to the Pedros Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Accuracy, speed, and maintaining hygiene and food safety standards are key elements of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation:
- Read and understand orders accurately to prepare food items as per customer requests.
- Ensure food is plated correctly in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain Hygiene and Safety Standards:
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the back-of-house (BOH) areas in line with SOPs.
- Maintain Stock:
- Ensure that BOH stock is managed according to SOP to avoid shortages and maintain efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year experience as a kitchen prepper or similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed numeracy and literacy skills.
- Education:
- Senior Certificate (required).
- National Senior Certificate (preferred).
