Job Overview
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 1-3 years of experience in debtors and creditors functions. As a Junior Debtors / Creditors Clerk, you will handle daily financial transactions, assist with customer queries, and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform debtors and creditors functions.
- Generate and manage daily sales order listings.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Process customer invoices accurately (correct price and quantity).
- Generate and distribute customer statements in line with Pedros SOP.
- Address customer queries and follow up on Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
- Process Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and supplier invoices.
- Prepare payments for suppliers.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and update department registers.
- Handle ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience:
- 1-3 years in a similar role.
- 2-3 years experience with Sage 200 Evolution.
- Previous experience in the FMCG, Fast Food, or Retail sector is advantageous.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
