Job Purpose:

The position provides administrative support to the Divisional Human Resources (HR) function, focusing on processing HR-related documentation, payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and policy requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR-Related Administration:
    • Receive, verify, follow-up, action, and process employee documentation.
    • Update internal HR databases.
    • Review HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in disciplinary and employee-related matters.
    • Coordinate training and communication-related activities.
    • Ensure compliance with legislation and Fraser Alexander policies.
    • Provide administrative support for people management processes (talent management, individual development plans, performance development).
    • Coordinate employee onboarding and terminations.
    • Participate in HR projects.
  2. General Administration:
    • Capture meeting minutes when required.
    • Address employee queries professionally.
    • Update and maintain internal company directories.
    • Assist with budgets and forecasting.
    • Handle other ad hoc administrative duties.
  3. Recruitment, Selection, and Placement:
    • Assist the division with recruitment-related activities.
  4. Monthly Reporting and Audits:
    • Support HR Business Partner in payroll and HR report compilation.
    • Consolidate and compile data for reporting.
    • Conduct internal audits on HR processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications:
    • Relevant HR National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of relevant HR administration experience.
    • Solid HR project administration experience.
    • High-level HR reporting skills.
