Job Overview

Pedros is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our Ulundi team. This role is integral in providing efficient and friendly service while accurately processing customer transactions and promoting our offerings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:
   • Deliver exceptional customer service by processing orders according to SOP.
   • Educate customers about current promotions to encourage sales.
2. Transaction Processing:
   • Ensure accurate and timely processing of various payment types following SOP.
3. Upselling:
   • Use upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase ticket averages.
4. Hygiene and Maintenance:
   • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the counter service areas as per SOP.
5. Stock Management:
   • Manage FOH (Front of House) stock according to SOP.

Requirements

1. Education:
   • Senior Certificate (required).
   • National Senior Certificate (preferred).
2. Skills:
   • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
   • Excellent customer service orientation.
3. Experience:
   • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a retail cashier (QSR environment preferred).
