Job Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Process customer orders promptly and accurately according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Deliver great service to enhance the customer experience.
- Educate customers about current promotions to drive sales.
- Sales and Transactions:
- Maintain speed of service during busy periods.
- Accurately process various payment types according to SOP.
- Use upselling or suggestive selling techniques to increase ticket averages.
- Hygiene and Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the counter service area per SOP.
- Maintain front-of-house (FOH) stock levels according to SOP.
Requirements
- Education:
- National Senior Certificate (preferred).
- Senior Certificate (required).
- Skills:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year as a retail cashier (experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment is preferred).
