Job Title: Administrator
Location: Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal
Job Type: Full-time


Purpose of the Job:

To perform all general administrative functions in the department, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company procedures and policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
    • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are known, understood, trained on, and maintained.
    • Utilize various business systems effectively to perform administrative tasks.
    • Perform all administrative duties as required within the operation.
    • Check the status of invoices on the system and ensure timely resolution.
    • Communicate with warehouse staff about specific requirements.
    • Handle customer queries and escalate them to the relevant management when necessary.
    • Ensure all documentation is correctly filed and easily accessible.
    • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per operational requirements.
    • Order stationery as required.
    • Assist in capturing data when the operation requires it.
    • Generate and print documentation required for operational processes.
    • Perform wage-related administration tasks.
  2. Quality, Health and Safety, and KPIs:
    • Ensure KPIs are known, understood, measured, managed, maintained, and reported monthly.
    • Ensure NCRs/NCPs and IOs are raised daily and encourage staff participation in the system to improve operations.
    • Ensure all NCRs/NCPs and IOs are closed within the required lead times (5 working days).
    • Adhere to Health and Safety standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
    • Carry out monthly checks as required.
    • Maintain housekeeping standards on a daily basis.
    • Assist in relevant operational functions as needed.
