Job Purpose
Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the Hinterland Store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General Administration
- Compile self-audit reports monthly.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure correct filing and processing of stock control data.
- Maintain effective stock card management.
- Customer and Staff Management
- Manage and respond to email and telephonic inquiries.
- Report on budget spending and manage consignment stock administration.
- Develop and manage staff performance, including training and development plans.
- Manage staff development and identify potential for accelerated development.
- Warehouse Operations
- Monitor stock levels in the store and ensure efficient stock control.
- Oversee security and safety within the warehouse.
- Manage marketing events and promotion projects.
- Achieve sales and customer service goals in the warehouse environment.
- Budget and Sales Management
- Manage warehouse budget and ensure financial targets are met.
- Develop and implement marketing plans with actionable steps.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a store environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Skills Required:
- Agricultural product knowledge.
- POS and SAP knowledge.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
