Job Description
The Sales Clerk is responsible for executing sales activities effectively while ensuring accurate stock control at the branch.
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Grade 12
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct sales environment
Key Performance Areas
- Customer Service:
- Deliver efficient service to walk-in clients.
- Promote additional products to enhance customer purchases.
- Stock Management:
- Monitor stock levels and initiate supplier or procurement orders when needed.
- Receive stock, verify counts, and ensure accurate pricing.
- Conduct stock counts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Technical Knowledge/Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong customer service skills
