Job Description
The Sales Clerk will ensure the effective execution of sales processes and the control of stock at the branch.
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Grade 12
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct sales environment
Key Performance Areas
- Customer Service:
- Deliver efficient customer service to walk-in clients.
- Inform customers about additional products to boost sales.
- Stock Management:
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering from suppliers or procurement.
- Receive and verify stock from the receiving department, ensuring accurate pricing.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
Technical Knowledge/Competencies
- Good knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range
- Proficiency in computer literacy
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures
