Purpose of the Job
The primary purpose of the role is to deliver effective and efficient spares sales services to customers, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer and Supplier Relations:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and specific needs effectively.
- Process, record, and report customer requirements.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Perform counter sales and telephonic sales to promote spares and related parts.
- Participate in promotions, farmers’ days, demonstrations, and agricultural shows.
- Market and promote specific agent brands.
- Provide efficient after-sales services in line with company policies.
- Stock Management and Merchandising:
- Merchandise, pack, and pick stock on shelves.
- Perform ongoing stock balancing and participate in quarterly stock-taking.
- Identify and report lost sales to management.
- Health, Safety, and Workplace Maintenance:
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workplace.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant spares sales experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical knowledge of equipment and machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and accountability.
Additional Notes:
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups, in line with the company’s transformation objectives.
