Job Description
Represent AFGRI Equipment by marketing and selling construction and forestry equipment. Responsibilities include visiting mines, rental and construction companies, analyzing client needs, introducing suitable products, and ensuring a seamless follow-through on all sales processes.
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Grade 12
- Relevant Sales or Marketing qualification
- Valid driver’s license
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of business, sales, and marketing experience
- Proven sales results within the top 5 OEM
- Experience in marketing construction and forestry equipment
Key Performance Areas
- Marketing Management:
- Oversee and manage the marketing function of construction and forestry equipment.
- Procurement and Stock Control:
- Ensure efficient stock control and timely procurement.
- Equipment Promotion:
- Market John Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment effectively to clients.
- Administration:
- Maintain records and administrative tasks associated with marketing operations.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit detailed marketing and sales reports.
Technical Knowledge/Competencies
- Ability to close effective business transactions
- In-depth technical knowledge of construction and forestry equipment
- Solid understanding of the Construction and Forestry (C&F) industry
- Strong verbal communication and client service skills
Behavioral Competencies
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions
- Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
