Purpose of the Job

To safely execute preventive maintenance and repairs on the plant as per planned, unplanned, breakdown, and documented work requirements.

Responsibilities

Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ):

• Comply with SHEQ requirements and tools.
• Adhere to safety, health, environment, risk, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations, housekeeping (5S), and planned maintenance system standards.

People:

• Collaborate as part of a team in activities and tasks.

Customers:

• Deliver first-time-right service to meet customer satisfaction.

Business Processes:

• Use fault-finding techniques and assist with root cause failure analysis.
• Maintain, repair, and replace mechanical parts and equipment.
• Execute breakdown work orders, create notifications, confirm work orders daily, and generate orders using the SAP system.
• Perform safe, reliable work with high workmanship standards.
• Conduct plant inspections, report non-conformance, and deviations to supervisors.
• Monitor machinery and equipment operational conditions.
• Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment and tools for legal and operational compliance.
• Report unavailability of spares, equipment, or other factors to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Work from heights and confined spaces following procedural requirements.
• Maintain general housekeeping during allocated tasks.

Rotable Management:

• Change out items and create PM orders for stock items.
• Create reservations and subsequent notifications for rotables.
• Complete “Damage” tags for returned items and transport them to the laydown area.

Requirements

• Grade 12/N3 with a relevant Trade Test.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Computer literacy is essential.
