Job Description
Mango 5, a leading BPO Outsourcer in South Africa, is seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join our team. You will be working with one of our award-winning clients specializing in Ultrasound and Cardiology Diagnostic services in partnership with the NHS, providing patient appointments in a community-based setting across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Call Handling: Respond promptly and professionally to a variety of incoming calls, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Referral Coordination: Receive, process, and coordinate referrals by liaising with patients, clinicians, and external health professionals.
- Appointment Management: Perform administrative functions to book, reschedule, and confirm appointments, ensuring compliance with KPIs/SLAs.
- Patient Communication: Contact NHS patients to arrange or rearrange appointments, provide clinic details, and handle any preparation queries.
- Courtesy Calls: Remind patients of appointments and provide necessary non-clinical advice.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve patient inquiries confidently and professionally.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all calls and tasks are completed to the highest standards, adhering to quality monitoring guidelines.
Essential Skills

- Exceptional communication skills, with a mature and empathetic approach to handling difficult situations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide exceptional service during busy periods.
Requirements
Experience:
- 1+ year in Customer Service.
- Experience working with UK/USA clients and in a KPA/target-driven environment.
- Contact Centre experience (1+ year).
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- No criminal record.
Benefits and Perks
- Salary: R8,000
- Commission: Up to R2,000

Working Hours
- Rotational Shifts: Monday – Sunday.
- Shift Timings: 9 am–6 pm or 10 am–7 pm (depending on daylight savings).
- Late Shift: 1 late shift every 6 weeks.
