Role Purpose
To provide expert consulting services to a portfolio of clients, managing employee benefits solutions, facilitating meetings, and ensuring exceptional client service delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) advantageous.
- Regulatory Exam (RE).
- FAIS accreditation.
Experience:
- 5–8 years of consulting experience in the employee benefits environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial services, health, insurance, and investment industries.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Processes:
- Implement consulting strategies and collaborate across segments and product houses.
- Develop and package financial solutions (retirement, insurance, healthcare).
- Oversee the re-broking process and ensure accurate reporting.
- Resolve queries promptly and maintain effective service delivery.
- Prepare product education material and assist with onboarding new clients.
Client Services:
- Build and maintain strong, client-centric relationships.
- Provide accurate and timely advice on employee benefits solutions.
- Implement quality management processes to align with SLA requirements.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies for client retention and growth.
People Leadership:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team.
- Ensure resource allocation meets client service delivery requirements.
- Foster a positive work culture emphasizing growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Manage team performance and drive continuous improvement.
