Job Purpose
To utilize effective sales processes to achieve targets, build client relationships, and grow the business unit’s customer base while providing exceptional service and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Target Achievement
- Apply sales processes to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Achieve embedded value hurdle rates as outlined in the Financial Performance Report.
- Control and influence sales activities to meet previously set goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Maximize cross-sell opportunities to strengthen client relationships at the point of sale.
- Grow the client base by hunting for new opportunities.
- Leverage existing clients and actively generate leads to expand the portfolio.
Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver exceptional service by offering proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all transactions are handled efficiently and new business applications are closed on time.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and influencers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities impacting the industry.
Daily Operations and Reporting
- Provide accurate sales statistics through daily cash-ups.
- Maintain updated records in the sales pipeline or CRM system.
Personal Development
- Continuously enhance skills and competencies to improve performance and sales results.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong ability to track, control, and influence sales activities.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
