General Worker
Location: Sasolburg (Zamdela)

About the Role
Phakisa Holdings is seeking General Workers in the Sasolburg (Zamdela) area to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in the FMCG industry, including production, warehousing, packaging, and logistics.
The successful candidates will assist across various functions to ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support
- Pack, label, and inspect products to meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the production floor.
2. Warehouse Support
- Load, unload, and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Organize raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
3. Quality Assurance
- Perform quality checks during production to ensure standards are met.
- Report defects, irregularities, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
5. Logistics Support
- Assist in the movement of materials and products to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
- Support drivers and warehouse teams with loading/unloading deliveries.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
6. Miscellaneous Tasks
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the company.
Requirements
- Prior experience in FMCG, warehousing, or manufacturing environments (advantageous).
- Basic numeracy skills for inventory and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive in assisting with solutions.
- Residency: Must reside in Sasolburg (Zamdela).
